- 1 TSP BAKING POWDER
- 1 1/2 BICARBONATE OF SODA
- 1⁄2 CUP BUTTER
- 1⁄2 CUP SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 1/2 CUP HOT COFFEE
- 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
- SIFT BAKING POWDER, BICARBONATE OF SODA, FLOUR.
- IN A BOWL CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR, ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME, VANILLA ESSENCE, HOT STRONG COFFEE.
- SECOND PART
- 1/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1/3 STRONG COFFEE (A CUP OF COFFEE NOT JUST THE COFFEE)
- 1/2 COCOA POWDER
- 1 TSO BUTTER.
- PLACE IN A POT MEDIUM HEAT FOR 5 MINUTES UNTIL IT STARTS GETTING THICK. ADD THIS TO YOUR CAKE MIXTURE.
- Icing
- 3 CUPS ICING SUGAR
- 6 SPOONS COCOA POWDER
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 1TSP VANILLA ESSENCE.
Instructions
- I MADE AN EXTRA CAKE AND MADE IT CRUMBS SO I COULD DECORATE MY CAKE.
- ICE THE CAKE ALL OVER AND COVER WITH CAKE CRUMBS.
