BEAT SUGAR, VANILLA EXTRACT AND CREAM CHEESE IN A BOWL.
MELT CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN A DOUBLE BOILER, OR 2 SAUCE PANS OVER LIGHTLY SIMMERING WATER. STIR UNTIL MELTED AND SMOOTH.
FOLD THE CHOCOLATE AND PECANS IN WITH THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE.
SPREAD INTO THE BAKING DISH. CHILL FOR 1-2 HOURS, THEN CUT INTO SQUARES.
